These openers are very universal and, if your garage door is not too heavy, you cannot go wrong with one of these.
Screw Drive
Now, this type of openers works entirely different than the previous two. Instead of pulling a chain or a belt through the drive, it rotates a threaded rod. This rod is responsible for garage door movement. The screw drive is a lot less noisy than the chain drive. However, it is not quite as quiet as the belt drive. And, it might cost you a bit more. But, you can use this with heavier garage doors. Direct Drive
With a direct drive, there is no trolley that moves the door. Instead, it is the motor itself that moves along the chain. This makes for an incredibly simple system that is as quiet as they can be. There is only one moving part and it makes almost no noise at all.
